To find out if this strap is suitable for your car :

Turn over the cap and where the bungee strap is attached to the plastic you should be able to see 2 small rubber bungs holding it in place about 1-2mm in size.

We have pointed these out in the large image of the product, where we have started to remove them.

Unfortunately if you do not have the retaining plugs, then our strap is not suitable to use and a new complete cap will be needed.

To change the strap:

Just simply push out the little rubber plugs without loosing them and the strap falls off, fitting the new one is easy, just line up the holes on the new strap with the cap, and refit the plugs.
