Bluetooth Telephone Module. The quick and simple way to use your phone via the on-board hands-free system: the Bluetooth® adapter from Mercedes-Benz allows you to use your phone while in your car - without having to get your phone out of your pocket. The module is simply connected to the system plug of the pre-installation for mobile phone in the centre console - no tools or workshop visits required. Up to four different mobiles can be paired with the Bluetooth® module. These are then instantly recognized and their full functionality can be used via the multifunction steering wheel, the audio system or the central display: read text messages, view call lists, look up phone numbers, make calls - without having to get your phone out of your jacket pocket. As soon as the mobile phone is connected to the Bluetooth® module, it is automatically switched to "standby mode", so only consumes minimal power. No new telephone module or new mobile-phone holder required when changing mobiles - provided Bluetooth® SAP is supported. Simple to fit and remove: the Mercedes-Benz telephone modules can be connected to the on-board system plug (in the centre armrest) without the aid of tools and are equally simple to remove. No Need for expensive and time consuming trip to Mercedes-Benz Dealership!
